Parent and Teacher Empowerment Workshops

Workshops are presented to parent groups and teachers at our agency, in schools, in churches, and other community locations. The workshops address topics that have been determined during focus groups to be topics of great interest and need. The following topics are examples of workshop topics:

• Understanding the nature of behaviors
• How to make homework time more efficient and less of a struggle
• How to get your child to listen
• Discipline; What is it and how is it done effectively?
• How to remain calm in the midst of chaos
• How to manage a large group of children
